2025 Life Update: On the Move Again…

I clearly have given up on this blog a long time ago and yet I still pay the domain fees every year, so something keeps me hanging on. Mainly, the hopes that I will start blogging again. Maybe I should add a section dedicated to my cooking adventures because it seems like my cooking Instagram account is the only thing I seem to regularly post in, albeit even if it is only in the stories.

Let’s be real, life post-covid made the need for screen time limits a reality. I make no promises that I will regularly blog, but I will optimistically try to update you more. I realize that during our almost 6 years in Marrakech I only posted twice! C’est dommage (It is a shame). There have been so many cool and interesting experiences we have had over that time. I will try to post some old Marrakech memories and highlights.

As you may have guessed by the title, we are moving to Japan! I interviewed and got hired with an international school in Japan. Starting in August, I will be teaching high school geography in Kobe, Japan. We are excited for the new changes to come. There was a long list of what we were looking for/wanted in a new country. Last year, after much debate and soul searching we decided that we should stay in Marrakech another year. This year, amazingly almost all of the needs and wants we set up for moving were checked off with this new opportunity. Needless to say, it was a sign and answer to our prayers. We will try to keep you up to date on what is new.
